Gary Lee Swope passed away in the early morning hours of January 7, 2020, surrounded by family.
He was born February 11, 1964 to Norris (Hap) and Joyce Swope in Winnemucca, NV, where he stayed for the majority of his life, though his final years were spent in Carson City.
Gary loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hap and Joyce Swope, his brother, Kc Coon, his sisters, Terri Swope and Kristina Shepard and his ex-wife, Zenaida Swope. He is survived by his daughters, Kisa (Ken) Murrin, Corrisa (Joe) Bamford, Desirae (Glenn) Patton and his son, Joseph Swope, his grandchildren, Aubree, Britnee, Journey and Jesse Murrin, Cameron, Phoebe, Brayden and Charliegh Patton, his great granddaughter, Carma Foster, his sisters, Kim Swope and Toni Shepard and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are being planned in Carson City on January 18, 2020, time and place to be determined.
