Two misdemeanor charges of domestic battery first offense against Shawn Thomas Sorensen were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to a deferred prosecution agreement.
Dec. 19
Jennifer Marie Wilson pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of a drug which may not be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original felony possession of a controlled substance charge.
The court ordered 120 days jail with credit for seven days time served on the condition the defendant obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations of the counselor. As of December 19, the case was determined to be resolved as Wilson had complied with all recommendations.
A gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon charge against Michael Christopher Ingram was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to negotiations.
Tomie Rogers pleaded guilty to misdemeanor hit and run property damage. The court ordered $654.70 in restitution + $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment, with $1,000 suspended on the condition that the defendant pays the restitution and has no new like violations of the law.
A misdemeanor charge of failure to immediately report traffic accident was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
Michael Christopher Ingram pleaded no contest to misdemeanor injury to or destruction of property. The court ordered credit for time served.
Gisela Mendoza pleaded no contest to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The court ordered a $500 fine + $140 administrative assessment + 180 days in jail.
The court ordered the defendant to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations, with fines and fees suspended for one year on the condition the defendant has no further like violations and follow all recommendations of the substance abuse evaluation.

Vanessa Bill pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft. The court ordered 30 days jail with credit for 30 days time served and $32.90 in restitution. The court advised Bill that she has been permanently trespassed from Walmart.
Vanessa Bill pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny. The court ordered 20 days jail with credit for 3 days time served and $49.92 in restitution. Three misdemeanor charges of unlawful trespass upon land were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
Vanessa Bill pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft. The court ordered 20 days in jail and $100 restitution.
Jessica Lee Woods pleaded no contest to misdemeanor theft. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with fines and fees suspended for two years on the condition the defendant has no further like violations + $590.43 restitution.
Misdemeanor charges of injury to or destruction of property, resisting a public officer and speed 21-30 over were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court.

Paul Richard Provencio pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense.
The court ordered 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year on the condition he serves two days with 12 hours credit given for time served and the remaining 36 hours converted into community service.
