Feb. 18
A misdemeanor charge of affray against Philip Eugene Morrow was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court and the court was informed that charges are being pursued against the co-defendant in the case.
Feb. 19
William Edward Pinna pleaded no contest to misdemeanor count one: injury to or destruction of property and count two: unlawful trespass upon land.
The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment on count one and a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment on count two, with credit for five days time served given.
Misdemeanor charges of domestic battery first offense and resisting a public officer against Veronica Munoz Hernandez were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to terms of a deferred prosecution.
The DA informed the court that the victims were not willing to comply with a subpoena; therefore he could not prove the case without a reasonable doubt.
Joshua Brian Willman pleaded guilty to misdemeanor provoke or attempt to provoke breach of peace, amended from an original charge of misdemeanor domestic battery first offense.
The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment.
Shane Patrick Garrity pleaded guilty to misdemeanor resisting a public officer. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit given for three days time served.
Feb. 21
A felony charge of driving under the influence of controlled substance causing substantial bodily harm against Thaddeus James Martinelli was discharged after the Union Township Justice Court determined that there is insufficient evidence to bind the defendant over to district court.
Feb. 24
Travis James Andrews pleaded no contest to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment.
