The nice weather has allowed the Lowry High School spring sports teams to get on the field and get ready for the upcoming season. Baseball, softball, boys golf, track and field and swimming are all under way. The Lowry baseball team hosts Spring Creek in a scrimmage on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Buckaroos open their season next week with a three-day tournament in Fallon, Sparks and Carson City. The Lowry softball team opens its season next week in Sacramento, Calif. The track and field team will be in Elko next Friday. Boys golf and swimming does not have its first events until the following week
