David Lewis Bequette passed away on February 11, 2020 at his home. David was born on August 8, 1950 in Spokane, Washington to Charles and Maxine Bequette. 

David and his family moved to Mountain Home, Idaho in 1962, then to the Reno-Sparks Area in 1963.

The family remained in the area and David graduated from Sparks High School with the Class of 1968.

After graduation, David attended Automotive School in Denver, Colorado where he received a certification for cars and trucks. 

In 1968, David married the love of his life, Donna Wright. The two shared two sons together; David and Dennis, as well as many loving memories and a very happy 50+ years of marriage.

David and Donna moved to Winnemucca, Nevada in 1994to be closer to his family. And the two remained ever since.

David worked for Nevada Seafood from 1968 to 1978, Cashman Equipment Co. from 1978 to 2009 and then Silver Standard Mine from 2010 to his retirement in 2016. David belonged to the Independent Order of Foresters and the Winnemucca Trap Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and being outdoors with his sons and grandchildren. He also loved spending time at the property in Midas, Nevada. 

David is survived by his loving wife; Donna Bequette. His children; David (Dawn) of Lovelock, Dennis (Acaysha) of Winnemucca. Grandchildren; Brandon of Winnemucca, Darby Larson of Imlay, and Dalton of Reno. Great- Grandchildren; Keatyn and Joseph. Sisters; Charlotte and Marlene, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his loving hunting dog, Lady. 

David is preceded in death by his parents; Maxine and Charles and one sister; Cheryl. 

Per David’s requested there will be no services.
