BMHS JV boys drop two games at home

The Battle Mountain High School junior varsity boys basketball team played its final two home games of the season this past weekend and suffered losses in both contests.
Battle Mountain hosted visiting West Wendover on Friday and the Wolverines won 64-49. Nolan Chopp had a team-high 20 points, while Aydan Samuelson joined him in double figures with 11 points. Kaiden Slaybaugh added eight points.
In the home finale on Saturday afternoon, Battle Mountain lost 54-39, as Chopp led the team with 17 points. 
Samuelson collected 10 points
and Julio Vazquez had 11 points.
Battle Mountain wraps up its season Friday at Coral Academy and Saturday at Yerington.
