Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

Dec. 2

For misdemeanor trespass, D’Ann Brown pleaded no contest and was fined a total of $195. The defendant was set up on a $50 per month payment plan with the first payment due on Jan. 4, 2021. Count 2 of petit larceny was dismissed per the plea agreement.  



Dec. 3

Marylou Bickett pleaded no contest to an amended charge of unlawful trespass and theft. The court gave the defendant credit for seven days served. 



Darren Garfield entered an in absentia plea of no contest to an amended charge of disturbing the peace. He was given credit for time served. 



A motion and order to dismiss was filed in relation to the charge of aggressive driving against Shelby Donovan Grieve. 



James Edward Oakley pleaded no contest to an amended charge of drugs not to be introduced into interstate commerce. He was fined $1,000 and given credit for five days time served, leaving his balance at $250. The court suspended the remaining balance for one year on the condition the defendant have no like violations of the law. 



The charge of felony possession of a controlled substance against Jose Luis Rodriguez was dismissed in open court by the state pursuant to plea negotiations. 



Jose Luis Rodriguez pleaded no contest to an amended charge 2 drugs not to be introduced into interstate commerce. He was fined $1,000 and given credit for five days time served, leaving his balance at $250. 

Balance suspended for one year on the condition the defendant have no like violations of the law. The DA made a motion to dismiss count 1, possession of drug paraphernalia.
