August 4
Noelle Jeanor pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving, amended from an original charge of misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered a $750 fine + $140 administrative assessment with $390 suspended for six months on the condition that there are no like violations. A victim impact panel and DUI school were ordered. A misdemeanor charge of basic speed 11-20 over the limit was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
August 11
Sarah Kathleen Gomes was found guilty of misdemeanor basic speed 11-20 over the limit. The court ordered a $190 fine + $95 administrative assessment. Misdemeanor charges of registration certificate must be in vehicle and proof of insurance required were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office prior to the bench trial.
August 12
A misdemeanor charge of basic speed against Pablo Cruzreyes was amended to reflect rural speed with the fines to remain the same by the DA’s office.
A misdemeanor charge of basic speed $3 per mile over speed limit against Demetrius Moses was amended to reflect rural speed with fines to remain the same.
A misdemeanor charge of basic speed 11-20 over against Julian Jorge Palau was amended to reflect rural speed with the fines to remain the same.
August 13
Ashley Dawn Britton pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drugs which may not be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from original felony possession of a controlled substance charge. The court ordered 180 days in jail with 14 days credit for time served and the remaining 166 days suspended on the condition there are not further like violations of the law. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment.
Aaron Wade Crutcher pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a drug not to be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original charge of felony possession of a controlled substance. The court ordered 60 days in jail with 21 days of credit for time served.
A felony charge of possession of a controlled substance for sale against Brian Keith Christy was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to statute as a one-time dismissal.
