Obituary: Roberto (Beto) Manzo Figueroa

Roberto (Beto) Manzo Figueroa 45 passed away peacefully on August 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on November 8, 1974 in Colima, Mexico to parents Hildeliza Figueroa and Victoriano Manzo; the seventh of ten.

He was cherished and supported by his two sisters Teresa and Laura and his seven brothers Victor, Efrain, Elias, Ernesto, Juan, Omar, and Damian.

He was a loving son, adoring grandson, caring uncle, inspiring brother, a compassionate cousin, and most of all a joy in all our lives.

Beto grew up in Queseria, Colima with his siblings and loving grandmother until coming to the US and settling in Winnemucca, NV.

He attended Winnemucca Grammar school, Winnemucca Jr High and graduated from Albert M. Lowry High School in 1994.

He continued his studies at Job Corps in Sacramento and graduated in 1997, where he made many life long friends.

He returned to Winnemucca for several years where his family resided. He attended St. Paul’s Catholic church every Sunday.

He later moved to Othello, Washington where he independently lived.

He was a very kind, loving, funny, and respectful man; that enjoyed his life and made friends anywhere and everywhere he went.

He had a happy soul regardless of the hardships of his life and medical conditions; as he was born with spina bifida.

Roberto loved all genres of music, enjoyed movies, was always interested in unsolved mysteries and paranormal activity, and he was a fan of professional wrestling.

He loved being around family and friends and having a good time. His laugh was as special as it was contagious.

He was very adventurous and loved being outdoors enjoying the warm sun.

Robert left us all too soon and all too suddenly and will be greatly missed by everyone he came in contact with.
