Cal Peters shot a round of 98 to win the annual Doc Verner Memorial Junior Golf Tournament held at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course last week.
Trenton Mullis finish second in the boys 15-17-year-old division with a score of 106, Landon Esquivel (108) was third and Coda Nichols (123) placed fourth.
Bailey Hayes claimed the top spot in the girls 15-17-year-old division with a 99 and Piper Nichols was second at 112.
Luke Fentress led the way in the boys 13-14-year-old division at 75 and Drake Lyon was second with a round of 79. Hunter Wilson (87) and Glenn Sakurada (90) were third and fourth, respectively.
Katie Cassinelli was first in the girls 13-14-year-old division, shooting 59. Presley Hayes (62) was second and Alia Novi (88) finished third.
Hadlee Corbitt was the winner in the girls 10 and under division at 40. This group played six holes.
Maite Bengochea placed second at 47 and Laci Fentress (54) and Harper Case (60), were third and fourth, respectively.
Maddux Nichols shot 20 for six holes to lead the way in the boys 10 and under division.
Txendoa Cabatbat placed second at 40, Armando Rodriguez (41) was third, Kea Cabatbat (45) placed fourth and Aiden Guzman and Rylan Wines tied for fifth at 51. Drake Guzman (53), Jaycee Aloia (54), Ty Willman (54) and Eligh Guzman (58) rounded out the scores.
