Angelica Grace Guzman was born in Reno, NV to her loving parents Amador Guzman and Ryann Borman.
Our precious Lica, our little mamitas was born a fighter at 26 weeks, weighing 2 pounds, 13 inches long.
After a 3 ½ month stay in the hospital, our angel baby came home to Winnemucca. Her first year of life was tough but she never wavered, she had so much fire in her soul.
Her nickname, Lica, came from her big sister, Gabby, she couldn’t say Angelica.
They were 14 months apart. So, from then on for everyone, Lica she always was. Lica was the middle child of her 10 siblings.
In such a big family, when it is easy to get lost, when you had her attention, you felt like you were the only person in the room.
Her sisters will forever miss the late-night talks, sleepovers and drives, the Walmart trips, TikToks, makeup and nails and sleeping together with Lica hogging the bed. Her brothers will miss the forts, playing school, dancing on the kitchen table, enchilada eating contests and her support at all their games.
With Lica everything was an adventure. Angelica played soccer from age 6 to her sophomore year for the Lady Bucks at Lowry High School.
Always fierce, always with everything she had. We will miss her tough attitude on the field.
Angelica started her amateur photography business at age 15. It truly was her passion.
She was so creative and had such an eye for detail. Her photos have so much meaning and will live forever.
Lica got her first job at 15 at Subway and later at Burger King. She worked hard for herself but always spent her money on other people. Whether it was family, friends, or perfect strangers. Her gifts were always thoughtful and filled with so much meaning from the heart.
Lica really came into her own these last couple years of high school. She was blessed with some amazing teachers. Thank you.
Lica was feisty, sassy, the rebel, mischievous, the life of the party and always held her head high no matter what was going on.
Her heart was pure, loving, kind and genuine. Her smile was infectious and bright, her eyes blue and beautiful.
She knew just how to look into your soul and see you for you. If something was wrong, she just knew.
She adored her mother but honestly, she will always be a daddy’s girl, she was also wrapped in love by her stepfather and stepmother. We will miss all of her. We are all better people from having her in our life. She will be deeply missed and loved beyond measure for eternity.
Our precious angel baby gained her wings on July 12, 2020. She will forever be beautiful.
She will forever be perfect. She will forever be 17.
Angelica Grace Guzman entered her life exactly the way she left, too soon. We will never understand why, and will never be the same. Our hearts are forever broken.
