Mary Anna (Itza) Gray, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Reno, NV, with her husband Phil Gray and children Richard Bacarella and Brigitte Bacarella by her side.
Mary Anna was born April 2,1958 in Winnemucca NV to Marion and Jeanette (Fletcher) Itza.
She graduated from Lander County High School in 1976. She spent much of her career as a beautician in Battle Mountain owning her own business known as 3rd Street Retreat.
After retiring from doing hair she worked various odd jobs around town.
She also spent time focusing on her home life and caring for her favorite children; her dogs, George and Papeita.
She enjoyed cooking authentic Basque and Italian food. She loved working in her garden. Mary Anna, also known as Grandma No No, loved spending time with her Beloved Granddaughter Elcee and all of the children in her life.
Mary Anna is preceded in death by her Parents Marion and Jeanette (Fletcher) Itza, and her brothers Dickie and Damon Itza.
She is survived by her Husband; Phil Gray; Children; Richard Bacarella, Ashley Bacarella, Brigitte Bacarella, Natalie Gray Todd (Mike), and Justin Gray; Granddaughter; Elcee Bacarella; Brothers; Danny and David; and, sisters-in-law Kristine and Alison; as well as many nieces and nephews.
