Cherrie Lee Robinson lost her long battle with throat cancer and the new Covid 19 Virus at Renown Medical Center in Reno on April 9, 2020.
Cherrie was born to Donald Robinson, and Loree Hummel Robinson on July 20, 1957 in Winnemucca, Nevada.
She lived the majority of her life in Winnemucca with her parents.
When she was a young child they moved to Jerome, Idaho for the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind because when she was about three years old it was apparent she was deaf.
They returned to Winnemucca in 1978 where she lived with her parents until her failing health took her to the Lakeside Health and Wellness Nursing Care Facility in Reno in 2019.
She was preceded in death by her father and retired Winnemucca Police Officer, Robbie in 2014, Grand Parents, and Cousin Sandy Cuddeback. She is survived by her Mom; Sister, Eva Robinson Zabala; Nephew Avery Parker; Niece Andrenia Parker (Jerome, ID); Uncle Ron (Laura) Hummel; Aunt Ingrid Lampman; Aunt Charlotte Hummel; Aunt Lavina Hernandez; and Cousins: Mark Hummel, Kathy Hummel (Shannon) Bartgis, Ronda Hummel, Joe Dawson, Liberty Belle Lampman, Chris Lampman, Toni Cuddeback Flanigan, AJ Cuddeback, Bob (Sue) Cuddeback, Sabrina, John and Cassandra Hernandez; and Janice Straight.
Cherrie is being cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held at the United Methodist Church under the direction of Reverend Judy Robbins when health safety returns.
