1962-2020
Carol Gordon was my wife for 58 years, she died from cancer at 77 years of age on March 7, 2020.
Carol caught my eye at a college dance, a tall black haired beauty with dark blue eyes.
My friends and I were leaving a boring dance when this black haired classy young woman looked over her shoulder and asked “And what’s your name?”
My friends and I took Carol and her girl friends for coffee that evening. I married her a year later.
She remained a classy, loving woman all her life. She really had a heart of gold, she was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness in 1968.
She loved her religion and was the epitome of what a Jehovah’s Witness wife should be.
I could never have found a more perfect woman to be my wife.
No one can imagine my grief, my best friend is gone. She gave me seven wonderful children, she followed me through all sorts of adventures.
I’m really going to miss you.
