Aug. 30

Lon Edward Moyer pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery two counts. The court ordered a $200 fine + $105 administrative assessment + $35 special assessment fee with credit for time served + 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year. 

The defendant was ordered to serve two days, with credit for time served + 48 hours of community service to be completed in six months along with 26 sessions of batterers intervention counseling. The defendant was ordered to report to family treatment court and comply with all requirements of the program. Pursuant to NRS 176.337, the defendant was admonished that possession, shipment, transportation or receipt of a firearm or ammunition may constitute a felony.

Sept. 11

Corben Dallas Furnare pleaded guilty to count one: misdemeanor hit and run unattended motor vehicle and misdemeanor driving without a valid license first offense. On count one the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment and on count two a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment + $100 late fee + $100 warrant fee with credit for 12 days time served. The court suspended the remaining balance on the condition the defendant have no like violations of the law. 

Sept. 12

A misdemeanor charge of stop required upon signal of a peace officer against Jose Barajas was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to a global resolution. 





David Rafe Leon pleaded no contest to a charge of misdemeanor battery, amended from an original charge of domestic battery. 

The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for one day time served and the remaining fines and fees suspended for six months on the condition the defendant has no like violations of the law. 





Robert Baker pleaded no contest to charges of count one: misdemeanor domestic battery, amended from invasion of the home, count two: misdemeanor injury to or destruction of property and count three: unlawful trespass upon land. On count one the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for time served, 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year with credit for time served, 48 hours of community service to be completed in six months and 26 sessions of batters intervention counseling. Restitution was ordered in the amount of $895.45 to be paid within six months. Pursuant to NRS 176.337, the defendant was admonished that possession, shipment, transportation or receipt of a firearm or ammunition may constitute a felony. On count two and three the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment for each count, with credit for time served given on both.
