Battle Mountain Elementary School honored grandparents at Goodies with Grands before the school day started with treats and drinks at Mrs. Sparks’ early Morning Roundup.
Students and their grandparents took turns taking photos in front of a giant quilt project backdrop.
Art teacher Joni Davenport explained, “Everyone who attended Muffins with Moms, a Mother’s Day event, made a quilt square with fabric markers, and the quilting class at the high school assembled it, together with seamstress Judy Dahl.”
