Sept. 19
Anthony Matthew Jiminez pleaded no contest to count one: failure to stop on signal of peace officer, count two: fictitious plates, count three: speed 11-20 over, count four: leaving the scene of an accident involving unattended vehicle or property and count four: immediate notice to police officer of crash involving unattended vehicle or other property.
The court ordered restitution to be paid in the amount of $447 and the following fines and fees: count one: $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment, count two: $250 fine + $105 AA, count three: $250 fine + $105 AA, count four: $500 fine + $140 AA, count five: $1,000 fine + $140 AA with credit for 11 days time served.
David Ray Clark pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license is canceled, suspended or revoked. The court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment.
Misdemeanor charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle and no proof of insurance was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
James Paul Franklin pleaded guilty to misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license is canceled, suspended or revoked. The court ordered 30 days jail with credit for 14 days time served with the remaining 16 days to run concurrent with the defendant’s district court case. A misdemeanor charge of following too closely was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
Sept. 24
Daniel Constantin White pleaded no contest to misdemeanor basic speed 21 plus over.
The court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment. A misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana under 21 years old was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
Sept. 25
Susan Ridens was found guilty of misdemeanor battery at a bench trial.
The court ordered $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with $540 suspended; 90 days in jail with credit for 8 days time served with the remaining 82 days suspended for a period of two years on the condition the defendant and any friends or family of her stay away from 7105 Sunset Drive, Michael Elliot and Misty Unger.
Waylon Jay Huber pleaded no contest to driving under the influence, second offense.
The court ordered 10 days jail with credit for one day time served and the remaining nine days converted to 18 days house arrest; an $875 fine + $140 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee; a breath interlock device was ordered for 365 days with credit for time served of 156 days; substance abuse counseling was ordered through April 2020.
A misdemeanor charge of wireless communications prohibited while driving second offense was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
Sept. 26
Frank Valentine Sims pleaded guilty to driving under the influence first offense.
The court ordered 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year, stayed jail time on the condition he serves two days with credit for two days time served.
The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee with credit for three days time served. A victim impact panel and DUI school were ordered to be completed as well as a breath interlock device ordered for 185 days.
Paul Reynosa was found guilty of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The court ordered a $500 fine + $140 administrative assessment with four days credit for time served. A misdemeanor charge of unlawful trespass upon land was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.
