Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

Sept. 12

Robert Baker pleaded no contest to charges of count one: misdemeanor domestic battery, amended from invasion of the home, count two: misdemeanor injury to or destruction of property and count three: unlawful trespass upon land. 

On count one the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for time served, 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year with credit for time served, 48 hours of community service to be completed in six months and 26 sessions of batters intervention counseling. 

Restitution was ordered in the amount of $895.45 to be paid within six months. Pursuant to NRS 176.337, the defendant was admonished that possession, shipment, transportation or receipt of a firearm or ammunition may constitute a felony. 

On count two and three the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment for each count, with credit for time served given on both.

Sept. 18

Armando Acevedo Jr. pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespass. 

The court gave the defendant two days credit for time served on the bail of $195. 



Sept. 24

Jody Brent Welter pleaded no contest to misdemeanor failure to obey traffic control devices, amended from an original charge of duty to stop at the scene of an accident.

The court ordered a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment. A misdemeanor charge of duty to give information and render aid was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations. 



Kallie Johnson pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving on right side required. The court ordered a $50 fine + $65 administrative assessment. 

Misdemeanor charges of resident with non-resident registration and resident with non Nevada driver’s license were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations. 



Jaimee Lyn Breidenthal pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny. 

The court ordered $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with $540 suspended for a period of six months on the condition that no like violations occur and $600 in court fines and fees converted to 60 hours of community service to be completed by Dec. 1, 2019.
