Amanda Joleen Murray pleaded guilty to an amended misdemeanor charge of drug not to be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original criminal complaint of felony possession of a controlled substance. The court ordered 23 days credit for time served, the same as the recommendation by the District Attorney’s office.
A misdemeanor domestic battery first offense charge against Jolene Regina Caviglia was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as they cannot prove the case without a reasonable doubt.
Joshua Quincey Heckman pleaded guilty to misdemeanor convicted person failure to update address change and misdemeanor possession of drugs which may not be introduced into interstate commerce. The court ordered 120 days in the detention center with credit for 21 days served. An original charge of felony possession of a controlled substance was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
Junior Escoto-Albarenga pleaded guilty to driving under the influence first offense and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. The court ordered 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year with credit for two days time served. The court also ordered a fine of $400 + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee, with credit for 19 days time served. Count two was ordered to run concurrently with other fines. The court ordered the defendant to complete a victim impact panel and DUI school.

At a bench trial, Oscar David Galarza was found guilty of misdemeanor resisting a public officer and misdemeanor duty upon damaging unattended vehicle or other property. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 on resisting a public officer and $1,000 + $140 on duty upon damaging an unattended vehicle or property. A charge of immediate notice to a police officer of a crash involving an unattended vehicle or other property was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
David Garcilazo-Magana pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence with one prior conviction within the last seven years. The court ordered 60 days jail with 50 days stayed for a period of one year, stayed jail time on the condition he serves 10 days, with credit for one day time served. The remaining nine days was converted to 18 days of house arrest. The court ordered a $825 fine + $140 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. The court ordered the defendant to complete a victim impact panel and DUI school, along with having the breath interlock device for a period of 12 months. A charge of lighted lamps required was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea agreements.
