1946 – 2019

Denny J Crowe was born October 8, 1946 to Deloss J Crowe and Bernice (Myrup) Crowe in McGill, Nevada. 

He was the 2nd child in a family of three boys. Denny passed on April 5, 2019 at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada from a brain hemorrhage.

He moved to Battle Mountain with his family in 1963 and lived there for most of his life. He attended Battle Mountain High School and was vice president of his senior class in 1964.

He married Karen Hoalst (08/30/1969 – 02/24/1987). Denny worked as an electrician holding supervisory positions in the mines around Battle Mountain. 

Later, he moved to Idaho and purchased and ran the Willow Creek Store and Café. After selling the café he moved back to Battle Mountain. 

In 2005 he started a handyman service for maintenance and appliance repair. He retired in 2018. 

Denny enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his younger brother Bill Crowe, son Todd Crowe, daughter Kristine Mills, son-in-law BJ Mills, and three grandchildren Boden, Braxton, and Bryce Mills. He is preceded in death by his parents and older brother Ronnie Crowe. 

Denny was loved and will be missed. He will be interred next to his parents and brother at the Battle Mountain Cemetery in a private family service.
