Winnemucca Warriors win three in Reno

The Fifth Annual Reno Classic Basketball Tournament put on by Hardwood Palace saw the Winnemucca Warriors win all three of their games in the eighth-grade boys bracket Championship.

The Warriors took down the Reno Kings 49-30. 

Logan Fettic led the scoring with 17 points, Marcus Montes had 10, and Braidyn Anderson posted nine.

The Warriors defeated CVBA 58-46 behind Lance Brinegar’s 14 points, while Dante Cassinelli contributed 12. Jordan Bills and Fettic both had 10 points in the contest.

Winnemucca also triumphed over Reno Elite 54-32. Bills and Brinegar had 12 each. Anderson scored 9, Montes got 8, and Travis Urain scored 5 points.

Every player scored in every game for the Warriors.
