Fusayo Ikoma, 98, passed away March 19, 2019 in Lovelock. She was born in Hayward,CA on August 12, 1920.
Fusayo married Harry Ikoma in 1942 and shared 62 years together with him prior to Harry’s death in 2004. They were partners in farming, having farmed 19 years in Utah prior to moving to Lovelock in 1962 and continuing to farm in Lovelock until 1978 when together they ran Harry’s Ag Supply for 17 years. Fusayo also worked as a bookkeeper for McKinnon Ford for seven years in the 1970’s. Fusayo was a wonderful wife and mother as she was always taking care of everyone with a good sense of humor. Her greatest passion was reading, and her best friend was her sister Mary. She was preceded in death by son, David, and is survived by her son Brady of Lovelock and daughter Joan (Don) of Coupeville, WA. She also leaves her sister Mary Kikuchi of Quincy WA ,sister-in-law Mary Tanaka of Fresno, CA as well as nephews and a niece.
As requested, no services will be held and burial will be in Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pershing County Hospital Nursing Home whose wonderful staff lovingly took care of her.
