Kirby Austin Paradise pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of battery, amended from an original charge of domestic battery. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment fee + $100 late fee + $100 warrant fee.
The defendant was given credit for time served and ordered to complete 48 hours of community service in the next three months.
