Robert Mike Montes, life long resident of Imlay, Nevada, passed away peacefully at home,with his family by his side on Friday, March 1, 2019.
Robert was born December 15, 1931 to Jesus and Marie Montes.
In his life time he wore many hats, but most people will remember him driving the school bus and being a janitor at the school, a job he performed for over twenty years. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed woodworking
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers. Mike; Lupe; Manuel. Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeannie Montes; sister,Maria Menicucci children, Lucy Logan ; Richard and Signe all of Caldwell, ID; Gail and Chris Althouse; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Rosary will be said on Friday March 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM with a Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Winnemucca , Nevada, with interment to follow at the Winnemucca Cemetery.
