Three local coed softball teams battled it out at the Winnemucca Sports Complex last Saturday at the 13th annual Cody Louk Memorial Softball Classic. Wright Foods, Gerhard Publishing, and the Humdingers/Jim Dandy Productions played a Round-Robin in the morning.
That was followed by a hitting competition and then the tournament in the afternoon.
Brendan Domire and Madi McClellan won the hitting competition, scoring a gift basket and a $25 Chevron gas card. They donated their cash winnings back to the foundation.
The Humdingers won the tournament, Wright Foods finished second, and Gerhard Publishing was third.
All proceeds from the tournament go to the Cody Louk Lowry Wrestling Scholarship.
