Pamela Jean Tom pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of count one: contributing to the delinquency of a minor and count two: abandoning or failure to provide sustenance.
The court ordered restitution to be paid in the amount of $250. On count one the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment and on count two the court ordered a $200 fine + $105 administrative assessment.
July 17
A felony charge of battery with substantial bodily harm against Gabriella Barajas was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office following a preliminary hearing with witness testimony.
July 18
Zachariah Raymond Koval pleaded guilty to amended misdemeanor charges of count one: operating a motor vehicle while license is canceled, suspended or revoked and count two: possession of a drug which may not be introduced into interstate commerce.
On count one the court ordered a $500 fine + $140 administrative assessment and on count two the court ordered a $500 fine. A gross misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous drug without prescription against Koval was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to plea negotiations.
July 22
Tyler Gene Daley Bates pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed on the condition he serves two days, with credit for one day time served and the remaining 24 hours converted into community service time.
The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee with a victim impact panel and DUI school to be completed. A second count of speed 1-10 over was ordered to run concurrent to count one.
July 23
IHP Partners, LLC. pleaded guilty to misdemeanor failure to register as an industrial hemp handler. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with restitution to be paid to the Nevada Highway Patrol in the amount of $513.09.
