The Cow Country Classic was held last weekend at the Winnemucca Events Center with a hundred cowboys and cowgirls coming from all over the western United States, and even as far east as Oklahoma, to compete for over $25,000 in cash and prizes.
Remy and James Greer from JR Productions sponsored their fourth Cow Country Classic in Winnemucca.
“We love this city and the facility so we come back every year," Remy Greer said.

Heather and Tori Calhoun from California were contestants in the event for the first time.
“We came to compete in the team penning,” Tori said. “This was our first trip to Winnemucca; this is a nice town and the competition was fun.”
