Oscar Mercado, 33, passed away on July 1, 2019 in Winnemucca, Nevada.
He was brought into this world on December 30, 1985 to Manuel and Hortencia Mercado in the small town of Winnemucca, Nevada.
Here he spent his childhood and adult life, becoming a true native.
He was a catholic raised man and continued his faith within his belief. He attended Lowry High School and after his school years he started working at the food bank where he enjoyed what he did and the people he worked with.
Oscar was a man with a big heart and a great sense of humor.
Everyone who met him loved and cherished him.
Oscar is survived by both his parents Manuel and Hortencia Mercado; his brothers Juan (Laura) Mercado and Roberto (Shawna) Mercado, along with his two nieces and one nephew.
Services will be held for Oscar starting with the rosary on July 12, 2019 at 7:00 pm and the service on July 13, 2019 at 9:00 am held at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church.
