Roy D. Leon, 76, a native of Winnemucca, passed away on 12/25/18. Roy was born to parents Frank and Sophia Leon on 09/19/1942. Roy retired from the Winnemucca Post Office after 31+ years of service.
Proceeding Roy in death were his parents, sons Steven Lee, Frankie Ray and Gregory Thomas Leon, daughter Crystal Sue (Leon) Beaman, brothers Jess and John Leon, sisters and their spouses Frances (Don) Weighall, Josephine (John) Luna, Margaret (Joe) Marcenik, 1st set of in-laws Alfredo (Aphrodite) Gonzalez, brother in laws Alfred, David, Dennis Gonzalez, Spouses April Bennett, Barbara Rafiner, nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Roy is survived by grandchildren Tera (Chet) Parker, Rochelle (Colton) Beaman, Eric (Savannah) Beaman, 11 great grandchildren and mother of his children, Mercedes Leon, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and his great friends.
Per Roy’s request, no services. Arrangements under direction of Sonoma Funeral Home, Winnemucca, NV.
