Bill W. Higley 62, passed away on December 8th at Promise Hospital of Phoenix in Mesa, Ariz. Bill was born on December 10, 1956 in Lovelock, Nev. to Udale and Daisy Higley.
After graduating Pershing County High School he went on to continue his education in Phoenix attending a mechanic school.
He moved back to Nevada where he began working in the Mining industry for 20 plus years before moving back to Arizona where he continued working in the mining industry.
Bill was an avid sports fan and car enthusiast. His hobbies included camping, boating, water skiing, car racing and going to classic car shows.
He’s proceeded in death by his Father Udale Higley, Mother Daisy Higley, and Son Ryan Higley and survived by wife Tammy Higley, Daughter Amber (Josh) Howard, Son Tyler (Shayla) Higley, Brother Norman (Sherry) Higley, Sister Katherine “Kate” (Ed) Fries. Step Children Heather Collins-Van Erden, Jesse and Jared York, Jamie Shontz-Leon, Michael and Brandon “Buddy” Lusardi, numerous nieces and nephews and 17 grand kids.
A celebration for Bill’s life will be held at Grass Valley Baptist Church, 4150 Thomas Canyon Road, on January 12, 2019, at 11 a.m.
