Barbara (Jackson) Smutny of Battle Mountain, Nevada passed away December 5th 2018
at the age of 81 due to complications of pneumonia. She was born September 20th, 1937 to Clinton and Geneva Jackson in Weiser, Idaho.
She graduated from Weiser High School, class of 1955. She graduated from the College of Idaho and received her Master’s Degree from Oregon State University.
Barbara was an Educator for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Anton Smutny, brother Wayne Jackson and niece Sara Jones.
She is survived by sons, Kent (Denise) Smutny of North Bend, Washington. Rick (Beth) Smutny of Bellevue, Washington, one grandson Erik Smutny and two granddaughters Kerstin Lewis and Collett Smutny and one great granddaughter Haley Lewis. Sister Patti Jones and brother Richard Jackson of Battle Mountain, Nevada and numerous nieces and nephews.
