The Humboldt County Rural Basketball League made a stop in Denio on Saturday, Feb. 2. In a Divsion 2 contest, Kings River/Orovada defeated McDermitt Blue 29-23. In the other Division 2 game, Denio/Fields beat Paradise 26-17. Division 2 consists of third, fourth and fifth grades. In Division 1 action, Orovada knocked off Kings River 25-18 and Paradise beat Denio/Fields 24-18. The Division 1 group includes sixth, seventh and eighth grade.
