Lowry girls win regular season finales

The Lowry High School varsity girls basketball team finished the regular season with a pair of wins on the road and finished third in the Northern 3A standings at 14-4.

Lowry held off Fernley 65-60 on Friday night and cruised to a 62-19 victory at Sparks on Saturday.

Lowry will take the No.  3 seed into the regional tournament at North Valleys High School in Reno and play either Elko or South Tahoe on Thursday at 3 p.m. If the Lady Bucks win, they will play Spring Creek on Friday at 3 p.m. The championship game is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday.
