The McDermitt High School boys basketball squad was scheduled to hit the road to take on Carlin and Owyhee, but they had to change its plans.
The Carlin game was postponed until Thursday, Feb. 14 and the Bulldogs won by forfeit over Owyhee.
The Bulldogs stand at 3-20 overall and hold a 2-6 standing in league play after the Braves forfeit
.Their only other win in league play came against Carlin on Jan. 18 at home, when they pounded the Railroaders 76-40.
The Bulldogs’ regular season finale will be held at Eureka on Friday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m.
The Northern Regional 1A Tournament will be Feb. 21-23 in Reno with the top four teams qualifying. McDermitt has secured the fourth position and will be attending in Reno.
The State Tournament is in Las Vegas on March 1-2.
