Obituary: Paul Allen Adamson

Paul Allen Adamson, 76, of Battle Mountain, NV passed away at Battle Mountain General Hospital on January 26, 2019 after a lengthy illness.

Paul was born on January 12, 1943 in Schurz, NV to Rocky and Irene Adamson; his grandparents Amy Tu-Tu-Wa and Slim Maine and Winford and Mary Adamson.

 He was married to Margaret Cadwalder, Joan Garcia and Linda Struble Johnson and has lived in Battle Mountain for nearly thirty six years. 

He was a member of the Te-Moak Tribe of the Western Shoshone.

Paul spent most of his life working as a cowboy in several states including California, Nevada and Montana.

He loved working with horses breaking and training them. When not working with horses he loved to fish hunt and go camping.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He played Skip-Bo every morning with his wife and grandchildren. He became a great story teller who loved telling all his stories of growing up to all who would listen. He loved people and animals.

Paul is survived by his partner Linda of forty six years his children Alvin, Homer, and Rita (Brian) Zamarripa; step children Robert and Lew Johnson, Lori (Shawn) Carlsen and Angelo Caswell; grandchildren Vincent Oppenhein, Alexis (Louis) Adamson, Michael (Kimberly), Kristian (Samantha), Shawn (Kenzie) and Trinity; great grandchildren Rocclyn, Cylice, Dave, Liberty, Kylie, Lacey, Eli, Shaylin, Valor and Lucus;  brothers Walter, Howard (Jeri) Adamson and lifelong friend Wesley Hamilton; sisters Rita (Dale) Chestnut, Florine Maine and Bara Buffalohide; numerous nephews and nieces; grandkids at heart Joey Cross, Caitlyn Cosper, Garrett Cosper, Cody and Tyso.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rocky and Irene Adamson, sons Rocky Clark and Wesley Adamson.

Memorial services for Paul will be held Saturday February 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Civic Center in Battle Mountain, Navada.
