Oren Karrol Haney, born on February 22, 1938 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Warren and Lucille Haney, grew up in Southern California where he helped his father with his hay hauling business.
He moved to Battle Mountain, NV and then to Nampa, ID. Oren passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019 surrounded by family.
Oren lived a great life full of love and friendship. He had many stories to tell and everywhere he went he made new friends. He cherished his late parents and his family.
Oren had a love for sports, his favorite was USA wrestling. He shared his love for sports with his children, grandchildren and even his great-grandchildren.
He was proud of his family. Oren had so much love surrounding him. He is survived by 10 children, 33 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N. Midland Blvd, Nampa, ID and burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Battle Mountain City Cemetery in Battle Mountain, NV. Condolences may be expressed at ZeyerFuneralChapel.com.
