The Battle Mountain High School junior varsity boys basketball team split two road games this past week in Lake Tahoe.
Battle Mountain was in Incline on Thursday night and lost 70-46. Kobe Lake posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Terrence Fetterly and Alan Martinez added eight points and two rebounds apiece.
Battle Mountain bounced back on Friday and beat North Tahoe 47-42 in Tahoe City, Calif.
Lake had another double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Santos Farias had 14 points and two rebounds and Martinez nine points and seven rebounds. Brock Bullock finished with four points and 10 rebounds.
Battle Mountain hosted Pershing County on Tuesday and results were not available at press time. Battle Mountain hosts Mineral County on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Coral Academy on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
