The Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club held the Women’s Championship Golf Tournament at the Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course over the last two weeks, and Gail Piquet was the special winner over-all.
In the first flight Vicki Celio shot a 194 to win the low gross title.
Terri Kracaw (198) finished second, and DiAn Putnam (203) was third.
Della Domingo (220) was the second flight low gross champion.
Lori Warnert (225) finished second, and Laurie Pickett (230) finished third.
Lori Mitch tied for the fewest putts on the day both weeks, with Kracaw and Melissa Murphy the first week, and Piquet the second week.
Piquet had chip ins both weeks. Putnam and Murphy joined her in the second week.
Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 in the first week, while Warnert took the honors the second week.
Domingo was closest to the hole on No. 5 the first week, and Warnert repeated her second week success on the other par 3.
