The Lowry High School girls soccer team put on a camp for five days this week and had a good turnout of 16 youths looking to learn about playing soccer.
“We are having our annual Lady Bucks camp," said. first-year varsity girls soccer coach Misty Stene. "We are trying to teach them basic skills and how to have fun playing soccer.”
JV girls coach Maddie Swensen was on hand to help at the camp as well
“It is good for the high school girls to be in charge here, using their leadership skills and learning how to coach and teach what they have been taught," Swensen said. "We are trying to let them be in charge the best that we can. It has been neat to see them do that.”
