The Battle Mountain High School softball team made its way to Yerington last weekend and dropped three games to the Lions.
Yerington swept a doubleheader on Friday, winning 12-3 and 8-7 and a single game on Saturday 5-2.
Silver Stage leads the Northern 2A at 12-0, while White Pine is second at 13-1 and Pershing County is third at 15-5.
Yerington holds the fourth and final playoff spot at 8-6, with seven league games left.
Battle Mountain is fifth at 8-11 but has games with Pershing County and Incline left.
