The Battle Mountain High School baseball team was back on its home field this past weekend to play White Pine in a Northern 2A tripleheader. Battle Mountain knocked off White Pine 16-6 on Friday afternoon. Scores of Saturday's doubleheader were not available at press time. On April 5-6, Battle Mountain traveled to West Wendover and dropped two of three games. The Wolverines won 4-3 in eight innings on Friday, April 5. West Wendover won the opener 6-4 on Saturday, April 6, while Battle Mountain won the finale 12-9. Battle Mountain travels to Yerington this weekend for three games with the Lions.
