Devin Fabor, 36, of Winnemucca passed away at his home on September 20, 2018.
Devin was born July 21, 1982 in Reno Nevada to parents Tony and Pamela Fabor.
He was a graduate of Lowry High School and received early advanced training with Strategic Defense Initiative in computer security.
Devin worked continuously since the age of 15 , whether working as a cook at the Martin hotel, The Pig , Pizza Hut or Round Table but always having a computer side business which lead him to work for SDI in computer security . He worked for several years at the Winners Inn on the count team. He further advanced his computer skills for Winnemucca Publishing as their IT Administrator.
He left Winnemucca Publishing for his dream job with Humboldt County in their IT Department for the past three years.
He loved working with his fellow employees, officials and County Commissioners. They put a smile on his face every day.
Being the son of Realtors he worked by their side helping with rehab of rental properties, yard maintenance, shampooing of carpets or whatever was needed along with his dad, as well as keeping the computers/printers/fax machine/anything electronic working for Humboldt Realty.
He was a genius with computers, web site design and administration. Devin loved target shooting, hunting, traveling, movies and reading.
Devin is survived by his wife Heather Fabor of Scotland, his parents Tony and Pamela Fabor of Winnemucca, grandparent Neva Cawthorne of Fairfax, IA, brother Tyler (Meagan) Fabor of Winnemucca, Nieces Makenna and Kaylee Fabor, Aunts Margaret (Bob) Niles of Cedar Rapids, IA, Doris French of Marion, IA, Uncles Scott Fabor of Klamath Falls, OR, and Marshall Fabor of Melrose Park, IL.
He was preceded in death by his brother Eric Fabor, Grandmother (maternal) Mildred Riggs, Grandfather (maternal) Albert Riggs, and Grandfather (paternal) Dale Fabor.

A memorial service will be held for Devin on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 10:00 am at Sonoma Funeral Home in Winnemucca with graveside service at Winnemucca Cemetery to follow.
A reception lunch will be served at Bakarra Basque Bistro (formerly Ormachea’s) at 140 Melarkey Street.
