Former Battle Mountain resident, Manuel Goyhenetche went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2018.
He was born in France, May 23, 1943 the eldest of 9 children to Michel and Marie Jeanne Goyhenetche.
Manuel served in the French Army before coming to America in 1964.
He worked at several of the mines and ranches in the area. He married Louise Bailor at Saint John Bosco in September of 1981.
In 1985 he left Nevada, moving to California. He owned and operated his landscaping business for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Louise, 2 sons Michael and Christopher, and 2 very precious grandchildren, Madison and Trever who he loved very much all of Carmichael California, a brother in Canada and 4 sisters in France.
A memorial mass is set for September 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 5057 Cottage Way, Carmichael California.
Russ Monroe’s Cremation and Funeral Services, Fair Oaks California, are assisting the family.
