The Tri-County Fair and Stampede came to the Winnemucca Events Complex again this Labor Day weekend and featured the Great Basin Youth Challenge on opening night. Youngsters participated in Mutton Bustin’, Calf Riding, Dummy Roping, Stick and Lead Horse Barrels, Junior Barrel Racing, a Wild Pony Race, and new this year, Mini Bull and Bronc Riding.
