The McDermitt High School football team hosted Carlin last Saturday in their second-to-last regular season contest.
The Railroaders put up the first 40 points in the first half, before McDermitt got on the board with a touchdown as time expired in the first half.
A missed extra point attempt made the tally 40-6 at the half.
Halftime found the Bulldogs celebrating the crowning of their 2018 homecoming queen Precious Masters.
McDermitt managed to put 12 more points on the board in the second half, but Carlin scored 14 to put the final at 54-18.
The loss dropped the Bulldogs conference record to 0-4.
Undefeated Eureka (4-0) leads the 1A East division, Wells (3-1) and Carlin (3-1) are tied, as are Independence (1-3) and Owyhee (1-3).
McDermitt played its final game of the season at Independence (Elko) on Friday, Oct. 19.
