The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team was held scoreless in both its matches at home this week, as the Lady Longhorns celebrated Homecoming.
Battle Mountain hosted Dayton on Wednesday, Oct. 10, and lost 1-0. League-leading Whittell visited Battle Mountain on Saturday and won 8-0.
Battle Mountain travels to Yerington on Friday and Fernley on Saturday.

The Battle Mountain boys took on Dayton on Wednesday, Oct. 10, and lost 7-1 on its home field. The Longhorns did not play on Saturday, since Whittell has canceled the rest of its season.
Battle Mountain closes out the regular season on the road against Yerington on Friday and Fernley on Saturday.
