The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team split of pair of road matches this past weekend.
The road trip began in Ely on Friday afternoon with a 5-0 loss to White Pine. The Ladycats scored twice in the first 40 minutes and round out the match with three goals in the final 40 minutes.

Battle Mountain got back on the winning track on Saturday afternoon, beating West Wendover 2-1. The Lady Longhorns scored both goals in the first half and held on from there.
West Wendover scored once in the second half to cut the deficit in half but could not get any closer.
Battle Mountain is now 2-4-2 in the Northern 3A ‘B’ League. The top three teams advance to the playoffs. Whittell (5-0), White Pine (5-2), and Fernley (4-3) have the top three spots in the league.
Battle Mountain travels to Lovelock on Saturday to take on Pershing County.
