On Saturday, Nov. 17, Lowry High School’s Will Kracaw traveled to Casa Grande, Ariz., to compete in the Nike Cross Regionals Southwest (NXR) at Grande Sports Academy.
Kracaw finished 32 out of 242 by running a personal record time of 16 minutes, 31 seconds.
Lowry cross country coach Kathy Norcutt made the trip with Kracaw and said, “Will executed the race plan and he ran great.”
Kracaw is in discussions with several colleges at this time about the possibility of a cross country scholarship. He went to Casa Grande to show scouts that he could compete on a big stage.
