Thomas Gregory Higley better known to his friends and family as Tommy, age 37, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Tommy was born on February 25th, 1981 in Winnemucca Nevada to his parents Greg and Carol Higley. 

Tommy has two elder brothers Chris and David. Tommy was raised in Winnemucca where he enjoyed all things sports related, hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with the family. Tommy attended Albert M. Lowry high school where he lettered in varsity Baseball and Football.

In 1999 after graduating, he moved to Reno Nevada to live with his brother and best friend Chris. He began working at A&B Precision metals as a press brake operator.

He excelled at his job and became a Lead and one of their best setup specialists. He worked there 19 years, participating and coaching the company softball team along with making lots of great friends.

Tommy enjoyed many things. He loved to Fly fish and hunt. He enjoyed bee keeping and he was a proficient woodworker and a little less than proficient golfer. 

He was a devout Chicago Cubs fan ever since he was strong enough to lift his head as a baby to look at the tv, and one off the greatest pleasures of his life was to see them win the 2016 world series championship. He was a diehard movie and tv fan and especially loved the Marvel and DC universes, but Superman was definitely his favorite. Although Tommy never had any children of his own, he had a soft spot for babies and children and they loved him too.

Tommy is survived by his Grandmother Jean Choate, his Mother Carol Higley. 

His brother David and his wife Spring, and his brother Chris and his soul mate Vanessa. His three Nieces Trystyn, Tiffany, and Tara and one Nephew Alex. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and great friends.

There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, November 18th at the Winnemucca Boys and Girls Club, 1973 Whitworth Way, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
