James Jay Jarvis, 72, of Lovelock passed away November 2, 2018.
He was born September 6, 1946, in Walla Walla, Washington to Clara Jane Elizabeth Jackson Jarvis and Bernard Charles Jarvis.
The family moved to Nevada when he was six years old, and after a year near Humboldt House, they made their home at Rye Patch. Jim was an Army veteran, avid outdoorsman, and the owner of Jim’s Service for many years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his brothers Bruce and Fred McKay.
He is survived by his daughters, Beki (Martin) Rosas of Lovelock, Jenifer (Spencer) Singleton of Alaska, and Tara (Steve) McCrillis of California as well as his sisters Joan (Russ) Ortloff of California and Jan (Les) Kleider of Reno, and his wife Carol Jarvis of Lovelock.
Jim also leaves behind nephews, nieces, grandchildren and many friends.
